What an SUPER Saturday to look forward to!

This Saturday, we have our annual Christmas Lunch, three courses of sumptious festive fayre, served by Sandy Bullivant and her team from Waddesdon Deli, and a toast to one of our club sponsors, Bicester Village, with cheese, wine and mince pies!

Our Master of Ceremonies, the effervescent Mr Paul Jaggers, having recovered from his season's debut last weekend in the front row for our 2s, will be inviting our guests to celebrate the life of one of our stalwart supporters Bert Hough, who sadly passed away, and, in these challenging times, reflecting on what has proved to be a season with much to cheer.

After lunch, the Christmas draw for the '100 Club' will be made, with a £500 1st Prize this month, and yes, there are still a few numbers available! (if you're interested, please speak with Paul on the day). The under 16s, in the form of Duncan Sansome, will also be donating a great prize for the 'heads & tails' competition, in the hope of raising money towards their tour next year, so please dig deep and support them.

The 1st XV are home to Stow-on-the-Wold, with a 2:00 pm Kick Off, with only two points between us in the table and an equal number of wins this season, this is shaping up to be a real competition (the 2nd XV travel to Bracknell and the 3rd XV to Oxford).

After the Senior's have polished off their Post-match teas, catered for by the landlord of the Red Cow at Chesterton, Mr Paul Nunn, the MAIN EVENT.

The Senior's Social, aka "Port & Pie Night" this year, coincides with the 80th Birthday celebrations for a Club Legend, Mr Paul 'Chrispy' Chrisp. Paul has been a staunch supporter of the club since before all the current Senior's were even born. He has personally signed up practically all of our Seniors until the digital age took over last season, hardly ever missed a 1st XV game, written countless thousands of words reporting our performance in newspaper articles, been the keeper of player stats FOREVER and, with his flat hat, mackintosh, waterproof pencil and paper, is a fixture on the touchline. So put on your Christmas jumpers and come on down to join us!

Please come on down and join in the festivities!
